What we built
What it is
A contractor measures quantities from a drawing and works out the quote, often in the evening after work, in Excel or on paper. Laskentapuu does the same in the browser: open the floor plan, set the scale with two clicks and take the measurements right on top of the drawing.
- Measuring from a PDF drawing: walls as square metres, mouldings as running metres, doors and windows as pieces, openings deducted.
- Your own prices and your own brand: the work types and unit prices are the user's own, and the finished quote prints with their logo and terms.
- Reverse-charge VAT built in: a construction quote is created with Finnish rules, not the assumptions of a foreign tool.
- Drawings stay on your own machine: files are never uploaded to a server.
- Six steps from floor plan to a finished quote PDF. No account, no installation, no cost.
Why we built it
Laskentapuu is our own product, and at the same time a sample of what we build for clients. When one job step eats your evenings and the pricing keeps swinging, it is worth turning into software. Laskentapuu is that work step as software, free for anyone to use.
